Notes about booking artists on The Jazz Session:

• New episodes of The Jazz Session are posted each Monday and Thursday, just after midnight Eastern Time.
• Due to the large volume of interviews I conduct, you should allow 6-8 weeks from the date of the interview until the show goes live on the site. Please plan accordingly.
• As a general rule, I conduct phone interviews weeknights at 8 p.m. ET or later. I do two interviews per week, unless an artist comes to my town or I go to their town during a week when I already have two interviews scheduled.
• Cell phone technology has advanced a lot in recent years, but a land line is usually better, if you can get to one.
• As a general rule, I don’t book an artist more frequently than once every two years. This rule is a bit flexible, but just a bit.
• You don’t need to be promoting a new CD (or book or film or whatever) to appear on the show. Just get in touch, OK?
