Hi Jason,
I’ve been a listener for a couple of years now. As soon as you announced the 100 by 300 campaign I knew I had to help because of the heart you put into each program and really, it’s cheap when you consider it’s something you listen to each week and derive so much pleasure from.
So my question is…after this long, with several thousand consistent listeners – why aren’t more supporting this? I wonder how many who are listening every week would do the same thing – with this much work to generate such quality – for FREE? Yet they have no problem downloading each week.
I’m certainly not wealthy but even I can afford to support something that educates me on one of my favorite topics – jazz. Come on guys, show that we’re a closer community and cut back one latte every couple of weeks if you need to and show we have heart in the jazz community. The herd here all contributed to the show!

Hi Jason, i was really happy to become a member even though i can only contribute 10 bucks a month, (there was loose change in my couch cushions, how bout that), would love to be able to give more, i just wanted to say that i look forward to your inetviews every week and really appreciate the questions you have to the different musicians.
As i an aspiring jazz musician here in Brisbane (you may already know that Brisbane is not the centre of the Jazz Universe) your show opens my eyes to alot of different muscians and music that we just dont get here in australia, so i really dig the new names that i have been able to get into, i especially dug the ineterview with John Patiticci and also David Binney, although at this point a whole lot more come to mind, so anyway again just wanted to say i dig it and also one of my favourite drummers is also Ted Poor, you mentioned that the other day i think in one of your interviews.
I would also like to ecoe the sentiments of the comments above and ask please that more people contribute to this great jazz resource.
Cheers

Jason,
great podcast. Just memberized myself. I’m trying to do something similar, so it’s great to hear what you’re doing; great questions, great flow to the interviews. I’m a jazz pianist and I teach at Berklee and University of NH; I’m a big podcast fan in general, as a way of hearing really candid, complete conversations, especially involving people one might not hear about in the mainstream music press (or at least, hearing them talk about things they may not get to discuss in a mainstream publication).
Bravo, and I hope you get to continue.
